History
After managing the Electrical Division of B. L. Weber Group for 13 years, Ben Hodder purchased the division in 1997 and created Alliance Service & Control Specialists, Inc. (ASCS). Ben Hodder is the President and owner of ASCS and we continue to work primarily in the water and wastewater industries.

Alliance Service & Control Specialists, Inc. is an electrical organization that provides quality electrical construction and manufacturing, with prompt and reliable service to our customers.
Firm Location
Alliance Service & Control Specialists, Inc. is centrally located in Tempe, Arizona with over 3000 square feet of office space and over 3500 square feet of panel manufacturing shop space. ASCS has over 20 full-time employees and 7 service trucks with a service department available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Electrical Design and Construction Service
Alliance Service & Control Specialists, Inc. provides a complete package from schematic concept to startup, testing and implementation with in-house electrical engineering, instrumentation and programming. ASCS provides electrical design of water and wastewater projects, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) control systems including radio path analyses. Alliance Service & Control Specialists, Inc. is an Arizona licensed electrical contractor (ROC #128471) C-11 and (ROC #206185) A-17.
Control Systems Integrator
Alliance Service & Control Specialists, Inc. provides full electrical system control integration with local and remote automation. ASCS also provides installation of custom Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition computer-based control system, utilizing various Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Modicon, TriStar and Dell, along with many other components. ASCS is a registered Wonderware Systems Integrator and Allen-Bradley Systems Integrator.

Alliance Service & Control Specialists, Inc. provides excellent internal quality control and quality assurance of design, plan specifications, and book specifications. Through use of very thorough documentation, comprehensive project specification checking and crosschecking reviews, as well as formal weekly project review meetings and material quality and specification checking, ASCS commands the highest level of internal checks necessary to ensure the highest quality products.

Alliance Service & Control Specialists, Inc. is a full service UL 508A panel shop that provides engineering, design, and manufacture of custom motor controls, SCADA systems, and instrumentation panels. ASCS provides reliable state-of-the art components utilizing cutting edge technology and proven industry standards.
